Notices have been delayed.

We are working out a few issues and do not want to cause any confusion. We apologize for the inconvenience and understand the difficulty that this creates in finalizing summer plans. We thank you for your patience during this process. We will send out notices by the end of the week at the latest.

Update on Selections and Notifications (Round 2)

  • This is the second round of selections.
  • If you are not selected, you will be placed on a waitlist.
  • A status of 'Waitlisted' means that we cannot enroll you in our program due to space limitations.
  • If space opens up, we will contact individuals on the waitlist to fill up the course.

Application Information

  • Program eligibility:
    Program Grade Level
    GEMS Beginners Rising 7th & 8th
    GEMS Intermediate Rising 9th & 10th
    GEMS Advanced Rising 11th & 12th
  • Each applicant will receive their own link from support.wrair@ourgemsonline.com. Do not share this link. It is unique to you. After you register your email, this link allows you to access your application.  If you let someone else use your link, they will write over your information.
  • While we do perform regular backups of application data, it is advised that you save essays in a text editing software (e.g. MS Word) prior to submitting the application.
  • Each applicant will need a unique email address to register. Register with the name of the applicant.
  • Once you are registered you can save, edit, update and submit your application at any time.
  • Do not register more than once per applicant. Duplicate registrations will be merged to reflect the most recent submission.
  • This application is required, even if you have registered with AEOP.
  • All locations listed have been confirmed.
  • All programs are one week long.
